Position Summary:


Ultimate Nutrition is looking for a Process Engineer for their facility, which houses the manufacturing and packaging of various powders, tablets, and capsules for a dietary supplements company. Maintaining the production and quality of output is paramount.


This role is responsible for supporting the manufacturing, inspection, testing, and implementing quality initiatives for the manufacturing of Dietary Supplements in accordance with FDA cGMP and other regulatory requirements. The position will assist in establishing and maintaining the quality management system, collaborate with others to resolve in-house quality and process concerns. The successful candidate will lead, support, and/or facilitate process improvements for the entire operation, as well as manage the quality engineering aspects of the introduction of new and existing products into manufacturing.




  • Lead, support, and/or facilitate process improvements for the entire operation Develop, maintain, revise, and test Standard Operating procedures
  • Support Manufacturing in resolving day to day quality and process improvements
  • From Regulatory documents, develop and define terminology that is easily understood by a broad audience, ranging from manufacturing team members to executive management
  • Ensure evidence of compliance with regulatory, legal, technical, and corporate requirements within the SOP
  • Seek clarity and guidance from Management, Subject Matter Experts, and SOP users for any perceived irregularities and/or questions
  • Determine efficacy of SOP’s
  • Identify new inspection and quality equipment
  • Other duties and tasks, as assigned


  • 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Comprehensive knowledge of manufacturing operations, equipment, and processes
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or demonstrated equivalent education and/or experience
  • Ability to communicate knowledge to peers and colleagues from other departments requiring a thorough understanding of processes, equipment, and facilities
  • Knowledge of cGMP regulations preferred
  • Technical Writing skills and investigations processes
  • Knowledge of practical use of lean manufacturing concepts and techniques
  • Good analytical skills and detail oriented
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required
  • Must be self-directed, self-starter, and be able to multi-task and prioritize
  • Enthusiastic, cooperative, and positive behavior/attitude
  • Prior project and general management experience preferred
  • Ability to travel, as required


  • Attendance and punctuality are a must as ongoing production scheduling is vital to the rest of the company
  • Must have a positive attitude in order to motivate the personnel and be able to lead by example
  • Good documentation and communication skills, organized, high attention to detail, self-starter, and team worker
  • Flexibility to change work schedule as required to properly train and evaluate staff and to ensure the company’s goals are met
  • Ability to find, recruit, and develop outstanding talent to meet the company’s needs
